Other than voters, the Polling Place is restricted to certain people before the polls open, while the polls are open, and after the polls close.

Who can be present?

• Election Judges
• Pollwatchers with credentials
• Representatives of the County Clerk’s office or the State Board of Elections with identification
• Law enforcement officials from the Winnebago County Sheriff’s office, Winnebago County State’s Attorney’s office, Illinois Attorney General’s office, or United States Justice Department
• Precinct committeemen and local election officials must have valid Pollwatcher credentials to be in the Polling Place
