Schedule and announcements

• At 6:30 P.M. announce, “The polls will close in one-half hour.”
• At 7:00 P.M. announce, “The Polling Place is closed.”

All people in line at closing time must be allowed to vote.

Processing the last voter

An Election Judge must stand at the end of the line at 7:00 P.M. to mark the last voter allowed to vote. All voters must leave the Polling Place as soon as they have voted. Anyone arriving after 7:00 P.M. must  NOT be allowed to vote.

If there is a long line of voters at 7:00 P.M., the first priority must be to continue to process voters.
